Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Hotspot/Tethering feature on my device?
Yes! Our eSIM data can be shared with your friends with no limits. You could use all the data in just one day if you need.
Could you elaborate on the concept of an eSIM?
An eSIM, essentially a digital SIM card, enables the activation of a cellular plan without necessitating the use of a physical nano-SIM from your carrier.
What are the steps to enable my eSIM?
Setting up your eSIM involves a straightforward process: 1) Indicate your preferred destination 2) Pick a suitable data plan 3) Scan the QR code using your phone.
How does an eSIM differ from a standard SIM card?
While a traditional SIM is a physical chip that needs insertion into your device, an eSIM operates digitally, allowing you to access your carrier's cellular services without the requirement of a physical nano-SIM.
How can I determine if my device is eSIM compatible?
Consult our dedicated page listing supported phones to confirm the compatibility of your device with eSIM functionality.
When should I install the eSIM?
You need a working connection to activate the eSIM so we suggest you to install it the day of the departure when you are still in your country with a working Wifi or cellular connection.
What is Roaming?
The Roaming setting tells your phone if can use internet outside your country. This is why you need to turn it OFF on your primary SIM and turn it ON only on our eSIM. Some Android phones doesn't allow to enable roaming only on the eSIM, so you need to enable it globally and make sure you are using our eSIM for data (you can see it in your phone settings).
I cannot scan the QR code!
If you are installing the eSIM directly from your device and you don't have a QR code to scan, you need to proceed with manual installation. You will find here the instructions in our setup guide page.
